Welcome

  • Get to know the craft that's about to become your new favourite way to unwind. Geneva walks you through what you'll learn in the Foundations Course

What We're Making

  • A first look at all eight projects, from your very first keychain through to the showstopper baguette bag. Each one builds on the last, so your skills grow with every make.

Your Materials & Tools

  • Everything you need fits in one small kit — beads, fishing line and scissors. Geneva breaks down acrylic, wood and plastic beads so you know exactly what to buy and why.

How It Works

  • The one technique behind every project in this course, explained simply. Once you see how a single unit becomes a row and a row becomes a panel, the whole craft clicks into place.

Project - Keychain

  • Your first project and your first finished piece in one sitting. A simple, satisfying way to get right angle weave into your hands.

Project - Belt

  • Same weave, longer piece - this is where the rhythm sets in and beading starts to feel genuinely meditative.

Project - Coffee Cup Holder

  • Take your flat weave and shape it into a cylinder, then add a handle. A small shift in technique, a completely new kind of project.

Project - Square Coaster

  • The lesson that unlocks everything else. Learn to step up and build rows on top of rows, turning a strip of weave into a flat panel.

Project - Baguette Bag

  • The project everyone's here for. Build the full panel, fold, join and finish - and watch it become a bag with a boutique-quality handle you'll actually want to carry.

Project - Oval Bead Bag

  • The same bag, a completely different look. Oval beads give you a lighter, airier finish and a wider structured base.

Project - Striped Bag

  • Take your baguette bag skills further with a striped design - no new technique, just a clever bead sequence for a bold, colour-blocked result.

Make It Yours

  • In the last lesson Geneva will show you some ideas for making this technique your own by experimenting with bead types, bead sizes and design styles.
